The Woodland Bison

This is a high quality open edition giclee print in an 8X10 cream colored mat. Each print is hand signed. Painted in an 18th century folk art style the original is a watercolor. This print depicts the now extinct eastern subspecies, the Eastern Woodland Bison, once found abundantly in the vast forests of the eastern United States even into Florida, was largely eliminated by the 1800's and extinct by 1820.

The Eastern Panther

This is a high quality open edition giclee print in an 8X10 cream colored mat. Each print is hand signed. Painted in an 18th century folk art style the original is a watercolor and represents two extinct animals; an Eastern Panther hunting the once prolific Passenger Pigeon. The Eastern Cougar, a subspecies of the Western Cougar, was officially declared extinct in 2011, although it had disappeared by the 1970's. The Passenger Pigeon once existed in unfathomable numbers but in 1914 the last one died in a zoo. Panthers, are still seen in Eastern portions of the United States although many are reluctant to acknowledge their existence.
