I finally finished illustrating the sweet children's book Octavius the Octopus written by Elizabeth Zuill Cart.  This book is about a kindly octopus named Octavius who lives in a fish tank with other fish.  When his caretaker has to go to hospital after breaking his leg, Octavius takes over the maintenance of the tank himself and proves to be very capable and thoughtful.  I used watercolor on hot press paper for this project and thoroughly enjoyed myself.  It is isn't printed yet but when it is available I'll be sure to let everyone know and it will be available here.

I'm excited to have the opportunity to be working on a new project.  Liz Cart has written a wonderful children's book about an octopus named Octavius.  I will be illustrating it and I've been working on the first sketches recently so ..... meet Octavius.....

I think I am finally back with my website ... yay!  Now I don't have to keep apologizing and explaining to people that I've been working on my website for years, I can just give them a card.  So much easier.  Keep checking to see new projects and watch their progress.
